CONNECTOME: Luc Paradis

TAP is proud to present a solo exhibition by Montreal-based artist Luc Paradis. In CONNECTOME, the concept of trapping different visual and physical elements inevitably creates a map. Through a series of wall-mounted sculptures and pieces approached from a photographic angle with humanistic and archetypal imagery, Luc renders the viewer with extensive potential to trace back their own thought processes and connections.

Luc’s work brings to the front his will to experiment, he has the agility to move between new mediums and new content while always been able to maintain his very particular sensibility. When asked, “What do you think is the essence that your work is conveying?” his answer came fast and as if predisposed: “I am trying to make it feel a little bit off” he said, “there are possibilities that open up when the connecting lines are not all revealed at once”.

We would like to acknowledge Parisian Laundry for their support in making this exhibition possible.
